Information used by Myster
Depending on what you choose to use or share, information processed by the app may include:
- Account identifiers, pseudonym, profile details, interests, and any profile photos you provide.
- Selfie or face images submitted for profile verification.
- Approximate or precise device location, if you permit location access, for proximity-based discovery and matches.
- Messages and media you send, including content with disappearing or expiring options. Expiration does not necessarily mean all copies, backups, or recipient records disappear immediately.
- Device or advertising identifiers and technical information used for ads, service operation, authentication, and notifications.
How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, help people discover potential matches, provide verification and messaging features, send relevant notifications, deliver advertising, manage in-app purchases when available, investigate reports, and keep the service functional.
Service providers
Myster uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Google AdMob for advertising. Those services may process relevant information according to their own privacy terms. Google Play may process payments for paid features when they become available. We do not represent that use of a pseudonym makes activity entirely untraceable or invisible to service providers.
Your privacy options
Myster offers visibility controls, including Ghost Mode, and permissions for location and notifications can be controlled through your device settings. You can use block and report features for unwanted contact. These controls affect in-app visibility, but do not eliminate all processing needed for account and service operation.
Retention and deletion
You can request account and associated-data deletion through supported in-app controls or by emailing supportgodiscreet@gmail.com. Some information may need to be retained for technical, safety, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons. Exact retention and deletion periods depend on the app’s implemented systems and applicable requirements.
Age restriction
Myster is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. It is not intended for children.
